He is going to be heading on down once a week for five hours. This will be the first time in many years that I will have had a regular time slot with no kids.
Not to say that I'll be out shopping or lunching, I've put my name down for canteen duty, when Lulu starts school, and I'll be rostered a few times for kinder duty, but the freedom to slot stuff in provides a sense of relief and satisfaction.
So anyhoo.......
I packed his bag, he recognised it as his straight away and turned around ready for it to go straight on his back. The poor boy could barely walk, I thought he was going to topple backwards at one stage.
But he was so proud.
His smile made us smile too. I just had to capture it.
I'm grateful that his first session at creche went so smooth. I'm grateful that he loved it. I'm grateful that he was all smiles leading up to going. (He did have a tiny little cry as I was leaving) but was back to smiling again within minutes.
And when I asked him if he had a good time, he was shouting YES to the roof tops.
What are you grateful for this week?
I'm linking up with Maxabella over at Kidspot for 52 weeks of grateful.
Cheers
