A Tourist in Sydney

Once upon a time, Sydney scared the bejesus out of me.....

It's fair to say it's warming on me.

I'm linking up with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.

Cheers

  1. Oh, I'm a big fan of Sydney! We came to Australia on work exchange with my dad in the 80s for a few months, and I loved it so much that I stamped my 12 year old foot at the airport and declared I'd be coming back when I was a big girl. 10 years later (almost to the date), there I was, packing up my life and getting on a plane. I spent a year in Melbourne too, which I adore, but it's not Sydney.

    1. I love Melbourne's wide streets and bustling day and night life when there is an event in town, but no matter how many great shops it has, how many great restaurants call it home, how many sporting events are hosted there...it just doesn't have Sydney's stunning harbour and surrounds.

  2. Why does it scare you? It is a big maze but with a friend in tow it can be lots of fun.

  3. Sydney scared me too once upon a time, but then I lived there and realised it really wasn't so scary after all, and there are some seriously beautiful parts of that town! Gorgeous shots of luna park and the harbour. Last time I was there I went there and took some similar pics, but in the evening, so they look completely different to yours - amazing what different light can do. x Sannah
