Last year I had a crack at crocheting.
I just randomly decided it was something I wanted to do.
I sucked.
This year I started to see crocheting pop up around the place and it made me think, 'how come everyone else can do it and I can't?'
Ever determined I pulled it all out again and take two began.
I still sucked.
A little lesson with Nat from Little Love: Home of the Small and some advice from her to check out Meet me at Mikes and have a look.
I beam with a little bit of happiness.
What's your weekend like?

Yay! See, I told you that you could do it!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Go you!! And thanks for linking up :)
ReplyDeleteI learnt how to crochet last year and I sucked at it at first, but once you get it, it's easy! Well done! Love your squares - nice and bright :)
ReplyDeleteOh well done!!! they look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY such at crochet. We've been running Pip's crochet lessons on Village Voices and I've tried my best to keep up with them. But I'm all thumbs and no fingers, it would seem.
ReplyDeleteGood for you for giving it a go. Your squares are 10x lovelier than anything I've been able to come up with!! x
I still think it will be Christmas before my daughter gets an actual blanket. That said my speed is already picking up.
