Currently on in Melbourne, Disney on Ice was our big ticket entertainment for the school holidays.
We had a ball.
We left the baby at his god parents house so that the rest of us could truly enjoy the experience.
The theme is Celebrations, and touching on Halloween, Valentines Day and Christmas they certainly do celebrate.
I felt this years show was heavily based on the princess and prince's of Disney.
I know when the Toy Story Toys came out toward the end the crowd let our a huge roar and I can't help but feel it would have been nice to see a little more of these characters.
As a parent I think we can appreciate the level of skill that is involved, but this year having all just attempted ice skating we all could appreciate just how difficult it is and in turn just how clever they really are.
After the show we were lucky enough to be invited to the VIP room to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
The kids were loving it. Such a lovely experience.
I highly recommend this as a holiday experience for the kids. I'm sure we will be destine to go back again in years to come. We might even take Zander next time!
Whose your favourite Disney Character?
Cheers

We'll be going next weekend for the first time - hope my boys love it! We too are leaving our youngest at home. I know he would have loved to have seen Mickey and Buzz and all his favourite but I was worried it was just a tad too long to hold his attention! Hope to go back another year with him (if all goes well this coming weekend)!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun day! Our crew loved it too - we had a little group of girls, so the Disney Princesses were a huge hit, but agree it would have been good to see a little more of Buzz and his friends. Although they are already planning next years trip!
