IKEA picture ledges

As each of my children turned 6mths old I took them along to have their photo taken.  Now as I've got a better camera and am a little creative I know the photos themselves lack that certain oomph, but they are still my babies and I love looking at them.  

I didn't really want these photos taking up all my wall space in the living rooms so had to think how I could display them so I could still appreciate them.

I decided to put together a photo wall using IKEA picture ledges.  They're like a shelf only they're narrow with a lip on them.  This allows you to swap your photos around from time to time without damaging the wall.

As you can see I added the gorgeous art work my Lulu did for me, and to tie in the different style frames I decided to frame a little quote.

Excuse the photo, it's not very good but the actual image in the frame is perfect IRL :)

I love my new picture wall using the IKEA picture ledges.  I love that this is the last thing I look at before I go to bed.

I think I'll never really get over how different all my babies looked, when they were babies!
