Indoor Archery for Kids

Last week I took Lulu for a spot of Archery.

I know this might seem like an odd activity for a 6 year old, but there were a number of things that drew us to this sport.

Firstly the fact that Lulu is participating in the PM's Olympic Challenge through her school.

Secondly the fact that we'd seen Disney's Brave at the Cinema and Archery features as the main sport through out the movie.

It was loads of fun and for a change she was happy, she managed to hit the 'yellow' bulls eye 3 times!!!!!

We're super excited in the lead up to the London Olympics.  Lulu is certain she'll be an Archery Olympic Gold Medalist one day.

It's always good to have dreams.

Cheers

  3. Oh wow, you're brave! I didn't realise you could do it indoors, what a good idea, even if a little scary!

  4. Disney's Brave is likely to spark a continuing interest in archery-our favorite sport but we think Katniss Everdeen of The Hunger Games really got the surge going! Thanks for a great article about getting kids started right.
