It's school holidays for us.
So we thought we'd try our hand at Ten Pin Bowling.
Or as Tom would call it Tenning Bowling.
We also decided to have a go at this because we're trying different sports as part of Lulu's commitment to the PM's Olympic Challenge.
We spent 1 hour playing a game of Ten Pin Bowling, adding to her running tally of physical activities.
It was important to wait until later in the afternoon, not only was it quieter at that time, it meant that Dad could come too.
Let's face it, sometimes dad's miss out on the fun stuff whilst their busy at work.
Lulu unfortunately came third. She was a bit bummed with the outcome. We did a bit of talking about being grateful on the way home. Grateful for the opportunity to try another new sport. Grateful for the opportunity to do something as a family. Sometimes participation is what is important, not the outcome, sometimes knowing we did our best is enough.
