Sunday 29th July is National Plant a Tree Day.
I want to teach my children that to plant a tree, or many, is very important. Giving back to nature is important.
I shared our experience in 2011 when we went to our first Plant a Tree Day.
It was not only a great learning opportunity it was a lot of fun.
And this year was no exception. Whilst July 29th is the official day, individual sites schedule planting days before and after this day. We went to a planting day yesterday.
I just have to point out, I did plant trees too. It's just Rod didn't take photos of me. But I did get stuck into it after I took a handful of photos.
Biggest challenge today was keeping Zander off the freshly planted trees. But we managed.
