This is a quick and easy one for you.
Not at all healthy, but sure is fun.
We used to have this yummy toast back in the day of Sizzler, are they even still around? So I couldn't help but create my own.
Perfect for a weekend treat.
Simply mix a portion of margarine and parmesan cheese. (Note: I use the sprinkle stuff, but grated should work just as well). I usually opt for equal portions, and mix it together. In the mean time heat a fry pan on the stove top.
Spread one side of a fresh piece of bread with the parmesan margarine. Lightly spray the pan with oil and then place bread margarine side down in the fry pan.
Let cook for a minute or two until you get that crispy effect. Don't panic if it sticks a little, just use an egg flip to scrape it up.
Then eat whilst warm.
Effectively one side is delicious parmesan crust and the other side if fresh soft bread. I made a half dozen pieces using about 3tbsps (butter/parmesan) in the space of five minutes.
Enjoy
