Top 3 Tools for a wannabe Crafty Mumma

I'm often referred to by my friends as Creative. 

And I know I'm more creative than many.

Well I thought I was more creative than many before I found Pinterest.

Now I think, sure I'm crafty, but not so much creative, I seek out my inspiration as oppose to come up with it myself.

On the weekend I was having a chat to another mum and we were talking about crafty tools.  You know the must haves that make your creative life so much easier.

My top 3 tools for a wannabe Crafty Mumma:

1. Hot Glue Gun

Remember standing there holding something down waiting for the glue to set?  Well wait no more.  Hot glue, which is dispensed out of a glue gun is so instant, your biggest worry is gluing your fingers. 

I picked mine up from bunnings for about $20.

 I made the headband and hat using my glue gun.

2. Staple Gun

What is it with guns already!  I love my staple gun.  Perfect for stapling items into wood, especially when you want to hold something with a bit of tension. E.g. fabric over a canvas.  Think bedroom makeover.

3. Laminator

Not only useful for laminating certificates and the like, a laminator is very handy for creating flash cards, games of memory.  We've even been known to make icy pole stick puppets, laminating people cut out from photos.
