What's in my Jo Totes Camera Bag!

I wish I was a professional photographer.  At the moment I fall in the 'wanna be' category.

Anyone want to help change that?

Anyway, today I thought I'd share with you my camera bag and what's in it.

For Mothers Day this year, I was given a Jo Totes Camera Bag.

Isn't it just gorgeous.  I found Jo Totes when I was looking for an attractive camera bag.  I wanted something that would blend in, yet was stylish, when I went out with the family for the day.  To the park, to a cafe, anywhere really.

But what's inside you ask ~

As you can see there are a number of compartments.  These are all adjustable.  Velcro base and sides allow you to adjust the compartments to suit your equipment.

Plus, as you can see there is a nifty little pocket on the inside, perfect for an iPad, which is an essential these days.

Last weekend I headed to our friends for a birthday party.  They'd asked me to bring my camera.  This is what was in my bag :: 

I had ~

My Camera :: A Nikon D60 (wanting to upgrade the body to a D7000)

Lenses, including ::
- Twin Lens Kit (18-55VR & 55-200VR)
- Nikon AF 50mm f/1.8D nikkor lens

iPad

My Other Camera :: Canon IXUS Point & Shoot

Manuals

Personal items :: Purse, mobile phone & mints.

Accessories :: USB Card Reader, lens cover, iPad photo sticks, spare lens covers.

I also have a flash, but to be honest, I don't know how to use that effectively, yet.

So when my camera is not in use, I keep that and my lens hoods in the bag, where my purse would go.  Then when I want to head out, I reduce the load by only taking what I need.

I leave all the accessories enclosed as they are all in the separate compartment at the front.

If / When I want to take my flash and purse, there is ample room above the velcro compartments for my purse to sit, without causing any damage.

I'm loving my f1/8 lens the most at the moment and practising practising practising.

One day, maybe one day I'll be a professional photographer, in the meantime at least I've got a kick arse camera bag on my shoulder.
